The Benefits of Faster Websites and Better SEO.

Have you ever gone to a website, and it takes eons to load? I know I have! I believe we can fix this problem by setting up a new web protocol! The purpose of this today, isnt to persuade you into fixing this issue, I doubt most of us can, but it’s to inform you how old architecture can hurt new systems. Businesses suffer a lot from poor SEO, the business world would be a better place in the age of information if business websites could load faster, improving their SEO scores.

SEO, or search engine optimization is fundamental to a successful website, and in the age of information, a successful business. Search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo, all priotize good looking websites at the top of their search results. They determine good looking websites based on many factors, including loading speeds! Poor loading speeds will limit how many people will view your website! According to, Professor Paul Usmany and his coauthors; on their work of THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SEO IN MARKETING SEO as of 2024, “implementation of is consistently related to a significant increase in organic search rankings and website traffic”. Now, the problem is, slow website loading speeds can occur from many things. A lot of these things can be simplified, to be faster! Some research shows how websites NEED sub second loading speeds to not anger people! And no, this isnt a recent problem, I’m sure you have all seen how slow websites loaded back in the nineties! As Jakob Nielsen, an editor at Nielsen Norman Group said in 1997 on The Need For Speed, “Every Web usability study I have conducted since 1994 has shown the same thing: users beg us to speed up page downloads”. The impact in the age of information is definitely the worst yet! Business owners, and their own customers are all affected by this, when searching up research for this speech, I realized that the good websites were deeper in the search results, cause they aren’t as well known, and have poor SEO! Poor SEO in this example, leaves me looking for good results even longer then I should have to. And on average, you will only get 20 to 60 seconds to impress your customers, like what Jacob Nielsen again, said in his 2011 article on How Long Do Users Stay on Web Pages, his studies showed that an average user spends upwards of 20 seconds up to a minute on a website. Then what is the solution? The solution involves, working on a better protocol, to solve the common problem of slow websites, poor optimization of web downloads. A faster protocol can speed up a website up to 7 times faster based on gRPC speeds! What are the benefits? The same ones I have been complaining about, faster loading speeds, and way better SEO for the business world.

Thank you for listening to my speech today, on faster websites for business pages. I hope this can at least inform you a little bit on why websites can load slowly. And I believe businesses would have an easier time attracting customers with better SEO scoring with a better web protocol. I hope, at least for any future websites you help with, that you can use this new knowledge to improve YOUR SEO.
